So it’s finally here, the song that I have been wanting to show you. It’s called “Take It Away.” I wrote this song and really loved it, but I didn’t want to wait till more songs were written to fill an album before I could give it to you. So I hopped in the studio and decided to release it as a single. I couldn’t be more happy with how it turned out and people’s responses to it so far. I can’t wait to hear what you think and would love your support if you picked up a copy from iTunes. Also, anything you could do to help promote, like adding it to your profile, telling a friend, posting on a forum, or something else along those lines would be greatly appreciated. Well it’s my birthday, February 27th, and I decided why not get a mohawk–because after all, who really cares?!! I was kind of scared to cut it and thought all the more reason to do it. Do one thing you’re scared of everyday. You can see the mohawk in the video below. Also, my new song “Take It Away” is coming soon!
So I jumped today when my phone started ringing off the hook and beeping with texts of friends telling me they just heard my song, “Just To Be There” on “One Tree Hill” tonight. I knew it was in the works but I had no idea it was going to be on tonight! Anyways if you missed it, you might be able to catch a re-run or find it on the CW’s website. The episode is called “It’s Alright Ma (I’m Only Bleeding)” and aired January 22, 2008. Thanks for staying in touch everyone!
This Friday, October 26, at 10 PM / 9 central my song, “I Can’t Wait” (iTunes), will be on ABC’s “Men in Trees.” Things have been going really well with TV placements for my music. In the past two years, my songs have been on MTV’s “Laguna Beach,” ABC Family’s “Three Moons Over Milford,” MTV’s “The Hills,” and now “Men in Trees!” That doesn’t even include being on LonelyGirl15’s YouTube Channel! I am really excited for this placement and I hope everyone enjoys it, and I also hope this placement helps my music reach a lot of new ears. So don’t forget to watch “Men in Trees” on ABC this Friday, October 26, at 10/9 central and listen for my song, “I Can’t Wait” (iTunes).

Katelyn Autry of AffairWthGravity was recently featured on YouTube and has gained over a million views on her videos and around 3,000 YouTube subscribers.
